Fun, cartoony and upbeat, Damon Albarn & co team up with former Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys and De La Soul to bring you this pop-laced anti-consumerism underwater tirade that’s bound to stick in your brain for the rest of the day.

To be released after Stylo (click HERE for newly-released video) as the second single off of the group’s forthcoming album Plastic Beach.

I Need a Dollar - Aloe Blacc (How To Make It In America mix)

Kid Cudi, DJ Green Lantern and Broke Mogul present the How To Make It In America Mixtape. Not sure how I feel about this show’s storyline or characters just yet, but like most HBO series, the soundtrack is fire. This mix includes a number of tracks featured in the first few episodes, including the show’s themesong, as posted above. Grab the mix at HBO’s How To Make It In America page.
Vampire Weekend - Giving Up The Gun (Feat. RZA, Jake Gyllenhaal, Lil Jon + Joe Jonas)
Not by any means my favorite track off their new album, but the video is strange and charming and precisely what one would expect. Bonus points for Lil Jon’s masterful turn as Obi Wan Kenobi.

British group The Klaxons cover Blackstreet’s No Diggity in today’s Aural Fixation.

New Vampire Weekend track, Ruby Soho, with a pleasant dash of chillbrah Africa to taste.
Download it here if you so desire.

Sad Eyed Lady of the Low Lands - Phoenix (Bob Dylan cover)
Man, really digging the Dylan influences these past few days. I love this song, and Phoenix does it justice. Grab the track HERE if you’re so inclined.
EDIT: Phoenix looks happy. Bob looks lonely.

To promote his new website, headbangamuzik, Dot Da Genius released this track of a young Kid Cudi spitting fire over Bob Dylan’s Lay Lady Lay in a track they’re calling High’s N Lows. Grab it HERE while it lasts.
